1) Why does the ecosystem need liquidity pools

A liquidity pool is a jointly funded and managed fund (of money or "odds/bets") of multiple network participants (operators, studios/RGS, aggregators, PSP/APM) that provides depth of winnings/matchmaking/payment coverage and reduces volatility. Effects:
